Who offers Koosly, and to whom

Koosly is a planning app for a family. The person who runs this copy of Koosly is responsible for the data; for koosly.com that is the household that runs it. These terms are between that person or entity (“we”) and the adult who starts or joins a family on this copy (“you”). You must be at least 16 to hold an account; children in a family use Koosly through the seat an adult gives them, and the adult answers for it. Using Koosly means you agree to these terms and have read the privacy note.

What is free, and what Koosly Plus is

Everything Koosly does today is free for the whole family, without ads, and stays free: we do not move a feature that is free into a paid plan. Koosly Plus is one subscription per family that adds the assistant: the model that reads what an adult captures and proposes what to add, Ask Koosly in the app, and the morning brief phrased by the model. Plus includes a monthly amount of model use, shown under Settings → Plan; when it is used up, the assistant pauses until the next month and nothing else changes.

A new family may try Plus for fourteen days without a card. When the trial ends, the assistant pauses; everything the family added stays, and everything the assistant proposed stays readable.

Price, payment and VAT

The price is shown before you pay, by the month or by the year, and includes VAT where it applies. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or hold your card. A subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel. We may change the price for a later period; you will be told at least thirty days before a change applies to your family, and you can cancel before it does.

Cancelling, and the right of withdrawal

  • Cancel at any time under Settings → Plan, through Manage or cancel. Plus then runs to the end of the period you paid for and is not charged again. Deleting the family ends it at once.
  • As a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from the subscription within fourteen days of paying, without giving a reason, by cancelling in the same place or by writing to us. Because Plus starts at once at your request, we may keep a share of the first period for the days it ran; the rest is refunded.
  • If a payment fails, Plus continues for a week while Stripe retries. After that the family is back on the free plan, with nothing deleted.

Your family’s data

What a family puts into Koosly is the family’s. We read it only to run the service, never to train a model, and never sell or share it; the privacy note says which services do work for a copy and where. Any adult can download the whole family as one file at any time, and delete the family or their own account in Settings.

Using Koosly

  • Add only people who are in your family or who help it, and only what you may share about them.
  • Do not try to reach another family’s data, overload the service, or use it against the law or against the terms of a service it connects to (Google, Microsoft, Claude).
  • What the assistant proposes is read by an AI model and can be wrong. Check it before you act on it; the words it was read from are shown with each proposal.

Availability and liability

We keep Koosly running with care but cannot promise it is available at every moment, and we may change or stop a feature. If we stop offering this copy, we will tell you at least thirty days ahead so you can download your family’s data. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for what follows from acting on a proposal the assistant made; our liability for a paid subscription is limited to what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer.

Ending an account, and changes to these terms

You can leave or delete your family at any time. We may end an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law forbids it. When these terms change, the date above moves and you are told in the app; continuing to use Koosly after that means you accept the new terms. The law of the country where we are established applies, together with the consumer protections of the country where you live; disputes go to the courts of either.
